Fantasy Football Tips
Tips to manage your fantasy football team successfully.
1. Leave your club affiliation at the door! A mix of consistent players from different clubs generally scores better than a team from one club. Some fantasy football games allow you to join more than one team, so you could play out your fantasy with your own club team as well.
2. Chose your team as close to the deadline as you possible. Remember players get injured in training or are rested by the manager. Keep an eye on the transfer market as your player might have left your league all together.
3. Use players that score points consistently within the fantasy football game you are playing.
4. Make sure you check the news and find out:
•if your players are selected;
•which players are suspended;
•which players are injured;
5. Use your transfers with caution: know how many transfers you can make and don’t get carried away in the beginning. Sometimes an injury looks worse than it actually is.
6. Look for players that are in good form, they tend to score higher points, so look for players that have been performing well in recent games.
7. Understand the scoring system: this will help you to choose the most consistent players:
•Choose keepers that make a lot of saves and keep clean sheets;
•Choose defenders who are able to their tasks and do something extra on top like taking corners and penalties;
•Choose complete midfielders that defend well, give a lot of assists and score a lot;
•Pick strikers who are in good form, a good scoring record last season doesn’t guarantee goals next season, sometimes strikers need some time to adjust to a new team or get back from injury.
